DISSIDENCE OR ORTHODOXY?

Dr Michael Siegel, prominent anti-tobacco activist, was recently the guest of Mr. Gian Turci at a FORCES round table discussion on the present state of tobacco control.

During the 35 minute discussion, Dr Siegel gave his insightful opinion on how his movement shifted from tobacco control to smoker control, how his disagreement with some of the more extreme tactics of a movement he helped create has cost him human and financial damages and how tobacco control is making it impossible for tobacco companies to research for new technologies towards a less harmful cigarette.
