TRANSLATION OF PR. R. MOLIMARD'S CRITICAL ANALYSIS ‘’THE EUROPEAN REPORT ‘‘LIFTING THE SMOKESCREEN’’: EPIDEMIOLOGICAL STUDY OR MANIPULATION?’’

As promised, we have now published the English translation of Pr. R. Molimard’s critical analysis ‘’The European Report ‘‘Lifting the SmokeScreen’’: Epidemiological study or manipulation?’’ that appeared in Revue d’Épidémiologie et de Santé Publique 56 (2008) 286–290.

It is with great enthusiasm and hope that Pr. R. Molimard wrote this analysis which doesn’t mince with words as it denounces fraudulent tactics and conflicts of interest between the anti-tobacco movement and the pharmaceutical industry.
