SLIPPERY SLOPE? NAH WE MUST BE INVENTING THINGS AGAIN.

So let's see a raise of hands from all those who thought we were wearing tinfoil hats when we said that once you give in to one type of government encroachment the rest will follow...one by one.

Are you willing to also let this one be adopted without putting up a fight?

It's funny -- the food, beverage and alcohol industry used to just dismiss CAGE's warnings about a slippery slope. Their attempts to say that tobacco is a special case and different were supposed to protect them from this -- but when it comes to the precedent of hefty government and medical community nannyism, nothing is different or special. They will intervene and harass wherever and whenever they can, all in the name of the sacred cause of better health.

Tobacco was not special. It was just the first because it was the easiest. Not necessarily in the name of the sacred cause of better health although undeniably there are some purists in the lot, but in the name of the sacred god named $$$$$
